Evidence Pack
We know the impact that nurture has on the lives of children and young people. Our training, products and services are evidence-based and practice-led, ensuring education professionals are equipped with the tools they need to meet the social, emotional and mental health needs of their pupils.
Nurture enables teachers to identify, understand, and address pupils’ needs with the right support. It helps schools to improve attendance, behaviour and attainment, and reduce exclusions.
Through our own research reports and projects, we gather and promote research on the impact of nurture principles, provision and the Boxall Profile® Online, so that every child is ready and able to learn.

The International Journal of Nurture in Education
The International Journal of Nurture in Education (IJNE) presents the latest research on how nurture principles and practice improve pupils’ socio-emotional functioning and academic achievement.
Research demonstrating the effectiveness of nurture practice tends to be spread over publications in different academic fields. The IJNE is therefore designed as a central hub for all relevant nurture research and findings.
The journal is aimed at researchers in the field, practising psychologists, special needs practitioners, school leaders, nurture practitioners, consultants, local authority officers, and any other professionals who are concerned with improving the social, emotional, mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
